- With the help of new technology, compressed natural gas is now becoming available for use in vehicles. - According to the Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition, there are more than 110,000 natural gas vehicles (NGV) in the United States, and over 1.5 million NGV's worldwide. |

- NGV's are much cleaner than other vehicles because they produce, on average 89% less methane gas, 70% less carbon monoxide, and 87% less NOx than traditional gasoline powered vehicles. An example of this marketed car includes the Honda Civic GX. |
